2 Day Uluru-Kings Canyon Accommodated Adventure - Departs Alice Springs and Yulara Resort (Uluru)

DAY 1 - Pick up from your accommodation around 6.00 am then travel south from Alice Springs leaving the West MacDonnell Ranges behind along the South Stuart Highway. Stop at  Stuarts Well for an included breakfast then continue onto Atila (Mt. Conner) lookout for morning tea . Travel onto Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park. Do a base tour of Uluru and guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole where you can view Aboriginal rock paintings. Visit the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and enjoy a picnic lunch while learning more about Tjukurpa (law) of the Anangu people. Visit Kata Tjuta, with plenty of time to  a walk between the massive domes at Walpa Gorge. Travel back to the Uluru sunset viewing area to the changing colours of Uluru while sipping complimentary wine or juice and sunset nibbles.

After sunset return to the Outback Pioneer Lodge to experience the renowned Self Cook Outback BBQ and a night of Outback Entertainment. Tonights accommodation is in 4 bed share dorms with the option to upgrade to private twin share or single supplement rooms.

DAY 2 -  Up early we leave Uluru  to begin the beautiful drive through the Australian Outback to Kings Canyon. Along the way stop for a light breakfast and a morning cup of tea or coffee before continuing the journey to The Canyon. Here your guide will take you on a 3 hour guided walk around the awesome Rim Walk or for the less adventurous theres the Canyon Creek Walk. Sit in the Amphitheatre, Discover the Garden of Eden and marvel at the shear North and South Walls while you hear about the geological evolution of the area - Watarrka. A wholesome picnic lunch on the rim of the canyon is perfect way to have some quiet time on this spectacular walk or to ask your guide some more questions.

The afternoon drive back to Alice Springs stops at Mt Ebenezer to view the local Aboriginal Art Galley then onto Jims Place to hopefully see Dinky the singing Dingo. Arriving back to Alice around 6.30 pm theres plenty of time to catch up with new friends and to plan your next adventure !
